Fire Sound is based in Margate UK and run by Steven Welton. Steven started his music career learning how to rig up PA systems & wire up studios and sound systems in the mid 80s. A record boy and then DJ in his own right. By the late 80s he was DJing and producing music, mainly Hip Hop. As the 90s rolled round, he presented a radio show and continued with production and DJing.
In 2000, after successfully completing a music technology course at Stratford College, Steven went on to produce several records which were released commercially and started the Fire Music Workshop, offering music tuition for children who could not access studios.
In 2011, services expanded to include PA system installation & setup in clubs & private residences with multi room audio, cinema rooms and various bespoke situations.
More recently we have provided the sound system for the Open School East carnival truck, wiring, setup & audio engineer services for the Quarterdeck Youth Hub for Kent County Council and continue with private functions, DJ & PA hire & one to one & group tuition.
